Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Rachel was born with Spina Bifida and confined to a wheelchair. Her dream was to ride horses. At 11 years old, she was put in a saddle. She passed away at the age of 18. In honor of her life Rachel's Wish Foundation was born.
Our Story
Rachel's Wish Foundation was established to honor and serve those less fortunate than ourselves, and provide opportunities where there ight not otherwise be none, We desire to reduce the hurts and pains of everyday life through the riding of horses. We leave our disabilities behind whole we create relationships, form memories, and ride horses like "Major".

For most of us the idea of becoming parents is an exciting time in our loves. We hope for a healthy child with ten fingers, ten toes, and a great smile. Our goal as parents is to provide for our families, and guide our children to make good decisions. We desire to create family memories that last a lifetime. and fulfill our children's wishes as best as we possibly can.
Possum Snout Arena is a great place to create these memories. The arena was built in 1990 to host family fun days, horse shows, until we met a very special girl.
Our Mission
As a non-profit organization, we strive to create programs and services that benefit those that may not be able to afford community activities. For those that may not be able to ride due to disability, may not have a community, or family to be involved in.

Our goal is to cover our arena so that our special needs community can ride regardless of the weather. This has been a huge challenge for many of our families. Many of our families have with financial, mental, and medically challenges. This will allow them to ride more often and enjoy life regardless of the weather. We know that with your donation we will be able to provide this for the community we serve
